i know after soo many years of success, this is our only really tough season and there's soo much negativity in some of our fans here even especially after the letter Moyes gave, we are in a transition period, we need to rebuild, it's what Moyes will do, not even been 2 seasons some of us are already calling for his head. I wonder if some of our fans were calling Sir Alex to be sacked in the time's when we went into a rebuilding stages such as the time we're chelsea won back to back titles. Let' see after a few signings moyes makes and he said he will, let's see after that. When he finally makes signings, has his own team, gets rid out of useless players, he even said he will sell some and then that will make him finally comes out of Sir Alex's shadows because then he will have more of his team then Sir Alex's team. If this time next season and we're still in the same situation and no improvements then we could say maybe he ain't the right man. I'm sure even if we had a different manager, we would still been in a similar situation like this because our team needs rebuilding and thats what Moyes has been saying but it looks like none of us are listening. Sir Alex ain't stupid to make a decision to bring Moyes in if he isn't going to bring us to a good direction in the future. Get behind the team. Manchester United will be back, we always come back no matter how many bad spells we go through because we are Manchester United.
Let's hope this is how the Utd board view it as well The longer Davey is in charge, the further away from the top you will become and it could well take even longer to get back there #savedave
To answer the OP, I remember vividly on the old 606, some United fans were going mental when Chelsea won back to back titles and were calling for SAF's head. Think it was a very vocal minority though, most real fans had seen he had won you oodles of trophies and was just going through a rebuilding process. Thing is though, because you had won s**t loads with SAF (and a treble to boot) and the fact that he had rebuilt the side before, the fans had confidence in Fergie's ability to build another title winning team (which he of course did with Ronaldo, Vidic, Evra, Rooney & co). Moyes, on the other hand, has no experience building title winning sides and is used to slumming it in upper midtable and finding cheap unknown bargain players and decent loan players. Hence why fans are less confident this time around. But you never know, he may surprise us all......not looking good tho
Yep.... Daves been a great source of positivity at United. After how down and out the club was its good that hes pushed us into everton territory. Next season might end up in a relegation battle but the season after we'll finish 5th.
I guarantee that if SAF was in charge this season, even the die-hards would be calling for him to step down. We would be listening to calls of "He's past it" "He's lost it" etc etc, the sole reason being that these performances are not good enough. So if there would be legitmate call for SAF to go, after all he had done for the club, why are the calls for Moyes departure any less legitimate. Just how bad does this have to get before he goes? With a few squad changes next season we could recover from a 5th/6th position to regain a shout at CL football in 2015 - the same could not be said if we keep Moyes and end up mid table and attract only medicore players for the fight back.
Then again he might be able to attract top players, however a top player should want to play for Man Utd because it's Manchester United. He did after all sort out the rift between Utd and Rooney and he brought in Jua Mata.
you stupid ****, i'll listen to anyone's view's but your's because your always one deluded person. stupid ****
agreed. There are signs of improvements. I have faith, Sir Alex's choice will defo be right. Given time we will be back, Chelsea have also finished below top four but the season after they were back in, after 22 years i think first time it looks likely we going to finish below 4th but we'll be back, there's no doubt about it. It's just one bad season we're going through.
