Im not saying he doesnt deserve better but many great player have left and upon their return recieved similar treatment to what I mentioned and the comment was intended tongue in cheek. But I fear I maybe close to the truth especially if he sticks a dodgy challenge in.

Didnt force him out just made it clear he would have to work harder to get a contact extension as the were not willing to open up discussion till the end of season
