Been called up to the Nigerian squad. Good news for him, a bit of a headache for us when the African cup of nations is on.

Underlines the need for a new striker.

When is the next ACON? I know they changed the schedule and had two in a row because of it.

He's getting better the less he plays.

****ing hell.. Fryatt gone, Prozzy gone, Long sold, Snoddy injured, Aluko cup of nations...

That leaves us with Jelavic & Sagbo as strikers...

Its going to be an interested end to the transfer window, thats for sure!

If we got that Aboubakar he would also go missing for the ACON

ACON 2015 takes place 17th Jan to 8th Feb.

Only the hosts, Morocco, are guaranteed a place and all other nations have to qualify.

    No need for hysterics yet........

Ultimately if he's good enough then it's win-win all round

I think the FA Cup 4th Round is somewhere in there too. If we get that far of course!

with the Ebola outbreak i think some countries on the west coast are going to have trouble fulfilling fixtures .

Nigeria has had the odd outbreak too . this current crisis is expected to run into the winter

I'd say 24th January since that's a weekend off for the PL.

Aluko called up to Nigeria squad.
If Sagbo has a good campaign he will get recalled to the Ivory Coast Squad.
And potential new signing Vincent Aboubaka plays for Cameroon.

Shouldn't worry too much about this. When Dele adebola came across to us he hardly caused much excitement - I assume they are part of the same virus family.......
