We really do need to extend his contract. I do believe he'll tear some defenses apart. http://www.thisishullandeastriding.co.uk/story-19145388-detail/story.html?#axzz2UZlNNA1V
Totally agree. Everyone is obsessed with Chezz's contract yet Aluko barely gets a mention. For me he's far more important and more difficult to replace. If he hasn't signed up by the season start I think we'll lose him.
Totally totally agree, I still dont know how we managed to get him in the 1st place, but I know its a lot easier to lose him if we dont get him signed. Really looking forward to watching Aluko next season.
There might be an 'option' for another year (subject to league status and appearances). It does seem to be the way the club operates with contracts handed out recently. Using Faye as a recent example.
I think it's also worth bearing in mind that Sone Aluko is a Brucey signing (unlike Chester). At 16, Aluko was at Birmingham, when SB was manager. I would think his arrival here was a direct result of being tracked by SB. I don't, however, think that Brucey will upset the team by playing hardball with Chester......but then he won't roll over and make a daft deal (and nor will the Allams).
I can see Sone being the surprise package in the Prem next season, performing brilliantly and then going to a bigger team in January. Hope not though as he would be a huge loss for the team, much harder to replace than Chester.
Not bothered, he's not that good anyway. The amount of total sitters he missed in a more spectacular fashion than a certain Aaron McLean, open goals, point blank range etc. if he'd stuck those away we'd wave won the league. Can't be doing that in the prem, we'll prob only get one or two chances per match. He's being vastly over rated whilst injured.
