I have to say the attendance today wasn't great, 17,000 at the KC today. But my word it did wonders for the atmosphere. For the first time in a long time I heard a bit of singing and applause and cheering. Like being back in the promotion season all over again. I'm not saying that the atmosphere being better is a direct result of the low attendance, but it must have helped somewhat that the glory hunting supporters stayed at home which allowed the proper fans to start the occasional cheer?

We played attacking football with the right combination of passing and the odd long ball. We played well and were much more exciting than in recent weeks. This was the main reason for the better atmosphere.

Matt I think you need to change your tag about Aaron, he's a good lad, might be our secret weapon this season now he's back and playing

Agree with people's sentiments about Mclean, he had his best game for us yesterday imo. The performance on the pitch carried through to the stands with the fans appreciaiting the efforts of the players. Good to hav some atmosphere back and long may it continue!

Do 'proper' look for twee, insulting comments about our players to use as a sig?

I remember the days when supporters did.

Matt - totally with you on this one - the 17000 city supporters that did attend are the true face of the Club.

After a slow if not poor start to the season, I believe us proper supporters decided to get behind the lads and show our real support.

The players duly responded and we got that home win that we have been craving after being a tad unlucky against both Blackpool and Palace at the KC.

Nice feeling to be sat mid table and above TWS going in to our two week international break.

This is kinda what I was getting at. The 3000 or so plastic fans buggered off and without them, the rest got the team going and appreciated what they were seeing. I'm not saying it's directly because those 3000 or so kill the atmosphere by just sitting there and complaining about every mistake and failing to see when we do play good football (maybe I'm implying it a little ;)) but it helped to get everyone else going and create a positive atmosphere for a change.

Imo, he does nothing. He made two tackles yesterday that I applauded because those are the first two tackles I've seen him make at the club. Everyone has their opinions and mine is that Koren, has immense technical ability on the ball but contributes hardly anything. Yesterday everything positive came from Cairney passing out wide to Brady who makes room for himself and can beat a man. Until he proves otherwise I'm not changing it.

Perky's different though in the sense that he has a strangely distorted view about the squad and the management and has to bring them up at every possible opportunity. I don't rate Koren as he frustrates me immensely as a footballer. He has wonderful ability on the ball and can change in a game for us. However he looks ineffective, sulky and all round useless. He doesn't contribute very much (I completely forgot he was on the pitch yesterday for around 85mins) and I don't think he puts in enough effort for someone so talented as I believe he could completely run the show if he could be bothered. What I don't get is, my last signature was in reference to McLean and nobody pulled me up on it because he's not as popular as Koren is, yet he's by far one of our hardest working players and I had not actually realised what he brings to the team until his absence at the start. However as I'm making people cry for voicing my opinion (despite the fact the reason for my opinion is right there above) I'll change it.
