Ok so i know im not an avid poster on this forum so i may be viewed as a WUM but to show you i know some information here is a post i did at 2pm the day carroll moved to liverpool. This is just my little bit of proof lol.

Anyway i was speaking to the same guy today and he told me some interesting stuff...

1. NUFC almost signed John Terry for £2 million in 2003. They were severly strapped for cash and he was on the motorway to the NE. However that week abramovich took over and refused to sell any players.

2. We came very close to signing Modric but Mike Ashley told his friend at spurs so they scouted him and signed him.

3. This is a big one which you may not like to read. Nolan will more than likely not be a NUFC player next season. Not because he doesnt want to be but because he will be the most hated man on tyneside.

Nolans agent apparently engineered the andy carroll move illegally and a documentary is currently being filmed about bungs etc by sky. This will be the main feature along with allegations against sam allardyce.

Carroll was told by the agent Liverpool will give you £90k a week so go put an ultimatum to the NUFC board. Carroll did and was told he had just signed a new contract and would get an improved one in the summer. As they had refused he took the advice of the agent to leave.

4. Enrique seems like he wants a move away but is considering an offer which has broken the NUFC wage structure but im sure most know that anyway.

I in no way can confirm any of these to be true but the guy who told me knows people. Take this as you like just wanted to put it out there.

Mmmm.. well to be honest I was never a Nolan fan, so if he wants to go he can go. Although I'm taking this with a pinch of salt.

Not sure why we'd hate Nolan? Just because he has a dodgy agent doesnt mean he played any part in Carroll's move.

 

Yeah he has been a great leader for our team you cant deny it but it will be interesting to see what happens with him this summer. I was told the tv programme will air pre-season.

Still though it may be a load of rubbish what i was told and ive just been too gullable but i kind of makes sense after Nolan congratulated the move etc.

 

Well i thought who advised carroll to go to the agent? I honestly dont know all the details and it will all become clear in this tv show. The way it came across to me is that Nolan will not be wanted by NUFC / he will be too embarassed to play in front of 50000.

 

Nolan wouldnt have tried that hard to get Carroll out, he might have recommended his agent because he's been OK for himself but I dont believe that he played a deliberate part in the club selling Carroll.

 

Nolan is Carroll's best footballing mate anyway and that has been well documented.
Nolan is also a Red's fan through and through so would it really be that much of a surprise and cause hatred towards Nolan from Newcastle fans? NO!

aslong as a player is prepared to give his all to the Black and White cause we will never 'hate' them.

 

Nolan's agent did try to hijack the Carroll deal but this seems to happen with mega deals..............same thing happened with Rooney.

Modric story well documented ............we showed him around but he chose Spurs. However, looks like he may leave them now for bigger pastures.

Enrique story puzzles me.........why didn' the guy leave when we got relegated or promoted?

 

I know what your saying and dont get me wrong i think Nolan gives it his all every match but i just cant understand, if this true, how after recommending Nolans own agent that AC leaves NUFC practically immediately.

Yes but he didnt recommend the agent in an attempt to get him out. He was good mates with Carroll and knew how important he was to us, no way would he try to manufacture the move himself. Probably misjudged the character of his agent (after all Nolan's only been involved in one major transfer in his career).

From what i have heard regarding this programme , it could end up with Carroll being suspended , the agent banned and Liverpool deducted up to 15 points!

But it will end up probably like QPR. A fine.

 

Yeah i see your point i just dont belive Nolan would be that naive. Im sure he knows the politcs of football just as well as the game itself. Still we will see! Hindsight is a wonderful thing! I hope it was the agent and nolan is with us next season. I was just repeating what i was told.

 

Was that serious lol? Have you heard this too? I was told Liverpool knew nothing about it but are bricking it. Agent should definitely be banned!
