Hi guy's and gal's. If you fancy a chuckle at the expense of our illustrious neighbours Get onto Youtube and type in Hitler reacts to David Norris goal etc etc. I dare you not to smile (even if you wear striped undercrackers)
Whenever I need a lift I click on the link below and it never fails to raise a smile... It's funny that the Skates celebrate a draw against the mighty Saints so much, the truth is that failing to get 3 points against us has contributed to their perilous position now...Ironic huh?... http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/championship/table
What should we have done then? Stood starchily around with a cucumber sandwich, talking about how the price of eggs has shot up lately. We scored an injury time sizzler of a goal, that salvaged a bit of pride in a dreadful season and, I might add, this is at least the second time you have laboured this point. We took our point and got on with it. No offence, but be happy with what you have got, or when it's gone, you will have been too busy worrying about Pompey to realise what you've missed.
I'm sorry but the OP is clearly not "getting on with it" and is "labouring the point"...I'm merely reminding him that is wasn't such an important point after all...BTW, I might appear to be a bit triumphalist at the moment, but it is nothing compared to what some Pompey fans were saying to us 3 short years ago. I respect you as a good egg PM, but I like to banter with Pompey fans at work and this is just an extension of that.
I guess my problem is I don't possess the malevolent zeal that most Pompey and Saints show towards each other. It seems that some fans, from what I read on here, value the failure of their rivals more highly than their own success. Weird.
So is that a typical Pompey reply......harping on the past as usual........No....oh just a bit behind the times then.........
