I'd take Carew but as suggested wages will be the stumbling block. I would forget most of the Bosmans and look to Championship / Div 1 level players - Tommy Spurr / Craig Davies / etc etc
I agree WBA but i do think we also need 2/3 with prem experience, preferaby down the spine. Which is the only reason i think we should take Upson.
We can't afford to pay an England defender's wages. Spurr will do the job admirably and is currently mired in the old Div 3! The sooner we realise the likes of Upson are currently out of our league the better. Why has Carson signed for Bursaspor? Its not for the kebabs! Fav (Flav??) we have players with Prem experience - Fitz / Kenny / Tarrabt (albeit limited) / Hulse / Helguson and Faurlin & Buz will do well with the extra space the Prem affords their like. Relax. For me we just need some extra grit to cover Derry, a seasoned defender like Craddock to cover the back 4 and a 20 a season hitman!!!! (last one was quite obviously a joke)

Yes, it was Flav but missed the 'L'. Trouble is, i cant see Fitz being good enough, Tarrabt being here too long (January maybe) and Hulse and Helguson will again not get too much pitch time. Im also afraid i cant relax as i am concerned we are not moving quick enough. For me Boothroyd should have been on that list. Players i would like to see us after: Boothroyd Maynard Long Ambrose Nothing flamboyant but good players, that can make a difference. As it stands i do not believe we are good enough to stay up. Im in 2 minds about this takeover keep changing my mind if its happening at all as may be the reason Warnock is keeping his powder dry.
