Something is going on here

Now the Nigeria tour's been cancelled too.

Something big is going on at the club. This, if handled incorrectly, could deter signings and encourage depatures, and I just wish there were a bit of transparency here...

 

Don't be alarmist, we have no idea what it is. Maybe death threats because of the RVP affair, maybe an increase in the terrorist risk - maybe the club chef got lasagne poisoning. who knows?

 

I know there is conflict in Nigeria at the moment, maybe the club felt it was unsafe to go over there.

 

I heard the stadium that was to be used isn't fit for purpose.

 

I don't think anything is going on here, i'm happy they cancelled it, the security situation in Nigeria is not good, so definitely not the time for a team of Arsenal's stature to be heading off there for a meaningless friendly.
