    Anyone interested in punting £5 each to put an big accumulator on for the weekends fixtures ?
    We could have a few knowledgeable lads ( probably 3/4) add their two penneth what to back and someone like Chappaz have final say.

    We could then all have a hightened interest in the weekend fixtures.

    Not sure how we get the funds together ( probably paying per month in advance) but I'd certainly kick it off by being interested. Let's try it for a month to see how interest develops/slopes off.

    Any takers?

    No need to put the money together, as everyone would get the same amount back if they staked the money on their own anyway. Also that way, people can put on however much they like.

    I'm up for a betting thread though <ok>.

    ^^this.........im up for any ideas people have for coupons though as I have been awful the last few weeks......any inspiration is welcome.

    Tonight I have a good treble on: WEST HAM, DERBY AND BRIGHTON 4/1......its looks like a stick on......time will tell!!!

    Well it doesn't even have to be a set bet for everyone to put on, but a proper thread where people can share their ideas would be great. We have a few that know non-league football, a few that are good with their European etc. so they can all chip in their wisdom and people can decide what they want to put on.

    Really no point all going in together. A nice simple thread of everyone's selections with suffice.

    I've stopped (or forgot) putting on Bano's Best Bets but I have been sweating on the Super Sunday result to come in twice already this season. Annoying.

    Cant believe I didn't win out from this weekend. Was so straight forward. Never mind.

    Thing about people betting their own money but doing it with the 'help'/advice of other means we can all enjoy the win together BUT decide of our own stakes, therefore, even if you only stick 10p on, its something to have a bit of craic with each week - I'm bang up for it!

    Get a thread stickied/Emptied each week so it's nice and concise!

    Edinburgh man wins £100,000 on football bet

    A man from Edinburgh has won a payout of £101,200 after betting on four football matches in the Scottish Cup.

    Rory Lewis's £100 accumulator paid out after all four of his chosen teams won their first round ties by four goals or more at the weekend.

    He won when Cove Rangers beat Glasgow University 4-0, Huntly defeated Newton Stewart 6-1 and Culter beat Burntisland Shipyard 4-0.

    Wick Academy then beat Coldstream 9-1 to secure the payout.

    Tony Kenny, spokesman for the bookmaker's William Hill, said: "This punter obviously had a crystal ball when making his selections.

    "To bet on four teams to win by four goals was a phenomenal leap of faith and we'd like to wish this shrewd Scotsman all the best with his new-found fortune."
