How do chaps, long time reader - first time poster and all that.. I have to say, very few of the possibilities to replace Nige sit well with me.. which is why i'm here to chuck a fresh name in to the equation.. Luton Town have a manager who last season guided them to the Conference Play-Off Final, in his previous job at Cambridge he did the same.. and won the Conference manager of the year award.. his name?.. a certain Gary Brabin.. am i living in the past?.. i've certainly heard worse suggestions
there are worse names - and let's not forget did anyone expect them to go for pearson. it all depends on what type of manager they are looking for - and what the budget is.
It's similar to Warren Joyce's name being suggested - the heart says yes but I think the head says no. Isn't Greg Abbott managing at Carlisle? Any other ex-tigers currently managing league / non-league teams? Is Andy Hessenthaler still at Gillingham?
Real fan of Gary Brabin, loved him to bits. Would like to see him involved in some way, but really don't know much about his management skills to be honest.
It has to be either Warren Joyce OR Ole Gunnar Solkjaer. The rest are either un-proven or Not good enough. imo Furthermore, it would send out the right message and not the wrong one. The list of suitable and realistic canidates is not a long one. imo.
unbelievably a quick check of wikipedia tells me that Van Blerk is manager of GHFA Spirit FC.. the guys got experience.. get the prodigal son back I say!
WJ & OGS are inexperienced as being a manager of a championship club going for promotion I'm not saying they wouldn't be right for the job though
