Oooooh very nice news, only thing casting doubt in my mind is what he said about wanting European football.

    Yep.

He's talked about getting Lille into the CL and wants to stay with a club that has CL football every season.

  4. Yeah but i'm pretty sure he said he only wanted a CL club move....

Perhaps having mateS at your club would be more important, which is why i don't think a move for Drogba would be that bad of an idea, but i don't see Drogba accepting 50k a week wage cap.

he would be foolish to go against the wishes of Tiote though. . .

Tiotes best mate in England was Drogba and he ended up at us, so having mates means little.

it's not as if chelsea where after him though before he came to us
Also didn't Drogba telling him to play over here have a big affect on his choices

And with Silva and Johnson on the wings already it'd be hard for him to get a starting spot...not that it's stopped others from transferring there for a comfy spot on the bench. Though Chelsea does keep talking about more creative wingers, but is he a big enough name to satisfy Abramovich?

I think he'll stay with Lille just for one more season, and be with them through their CL season, just like Hazard wants to do.

I doubt he will go to one of the 'big 4', and I can't see Spuds or Liverpool going in for him, so if he wants to play in the Prem, here is probs the best place for him, especially if he is mates with Tiote.

Suarez and Carroll already for god knows how many million. Considering they've already got Kuyt who i for one think is class i doubt they'll be seriously looking for a new striker

We've not been officially linked with him yet (via reputable lying publications) so Comolli is unaware of his existence.

I can see him going to either Arsenal, Spuds or Chelsea to be honest. If none of those then we may have a small chance due to his friendship with Tiote. But even then that's slim.
I've given up all hope of Gervinho to be honest, and chances of getting Gameiro are slipping away rather quickly. Sow/Ba/Kranjcar/Rondon/etc still all on the dream list and are possible so ya know. All is good.

Come with me you can wish upon a star
You can do all the things that you've longed to
And you won't have to wonder who you are
You can be anybody you want to
In a land full of promises and kings
All your best laid dreams are for catchin'
You can have the world to tie up on a string
Just close your eyes and imagine

Defender Jonathan Woodgate and goalkeeper Carlo Cudicini are both out of contract in the summer and are unlikely to be offered new deals.

Tottenham will also listen to offers for the likes of Roman Pavlyuchenko, Niko Kranjcar, Alan Hutton, Vedran Corluka and Wilson Palacios.
