Heres the thing. we were always going to struggle this year. last year we had a starting eleven that was okay and a squad of **** players. Mark has bought in eleven players and i think he would have bought in more, had a few of the defenders he went for came through for us. we had to do this you only have to look at the players that left in the summer to see why. you cant expect things to just happen over night. You only have to look at how Mark has got adel playing compared to the way neil treated him to see that we are miles apart from where we were last year.

Now for the positives the second half yesterday we were fantastic again we contralled the game and if we had scored our second before they got thier third the game was ours for the taking, also had the ball land to any other player right at the end we would have drawn which would have been a great result. once we get a few players fit and back in the defence the stupid mistakes that have lost us the last two games will be cut out. M bia looked solid in front of the defence and our attacking players will be back from injury and fighting for their places. No more Swp and Park will be given a kick up the arse if he wants to hold on to his place.

Accourding to the guy on foxtel we were the first team to score against west brom at home since march not only once but twice.

i have been watching QPR now for twenty two years and this is the best squad we have had in about twenty lets give them time i know they wont lets us down. what i am say of course they will by i still love them

p.s i know mark has got some tactics wrong and he has less charm than my little finger but he will get us there.

I think he will too but in the meantime he's gonna have to cop some from us fans, especially if he keeps playing swp and park.

Queens, well done.Good post. I heard that stat about the their home goals but not true. Liverpool beat them 2:1 at Hawthorns on 26.9.12.

There certainly were positives. Our two goals were real quality. Bosingwa could have done better to snatch a draw from the jaws of defeat.

My morning reflection is that something has to change. No great surprise there but consider what can actually change? Fernandes? Don't think so. The players? Window closed. The Board? Unlikely. I'm afraid there really is only one major area where change can be made.

I haven't changed my mind - I'm still against sacking MH - but when one considers where change can come, it knocks on MH's door first.

Finally, if our luck / fortune / rub of the green etc changes just a little, perhaps that will save MH too. The players can do their bit too. Sometimes (from limited MOTD view) they looked slightly sluggish still y'day. They need to play for MH, and soon.

I know what you are saying queens but a team could go a whole season saying if we had got this or if we had done that! I also think that if you say look how Hughes has got Adel playing then you can also say look how he's got park or swp playing.

Nice one Queens, my thoughts exactly. The shape of the team looked good in the second half and I do feel that MH is gradually finding his first eleven.Unfortunately he wont be able to sort the defence out until January.

We looked good against Tottenham and looked bad against Reading and West Ham. But looking good does not put 3 points on the table. Who would be happy looking good all season and getting relegated?

The biggest positive for me is that we looked dangerous precisely because both Taarabt and Granero played and seemed to have an understanding. Personally, I do not understand our armchair experts who believe that you cannot play them all together. The ideal team for me will include Mbia at CB and a midfield of Faurlin, Diakite, Granero and Taarabt. Perm any 2 from 3 from Hoilett, Cisse, Zamora and Mackie up front. Play the ball on the ground and look for openings, rather than retaining possession at all costs. Excluding the Norwich penalty how many goals have actually come from lumping the ball up to Zamora to win? We've scored by playing an incisive through ball to a player attacking the box or making a timely run into space

Possession football is all well and good. However it has to have a greater purpose. WBA played classic possession football but for their first two goals it involved no more than 3-4 passes to get it from box to box. That may mean one of the above group taking responsibility to go back and bring the ball up. Sideways passing between our back four until the eventual hoof into the box usually from Hill or Ferdinand is absolutely hopeless. Tactics? Tactics my arse.

For all our possession for over 45 minutes how many clear cut openings did we actually create? And how? Foster only had two poper shots to save.

    Hold on Hold on....!!!

Let me firstly say, that the OP is not from me but mymate that uses my name to "be like me"..
Q2...i was sitting next to you last night and know you well, so the thing about your little fingers personality is questionable i believe ...lol!

Finally Queens 2 - you know my thoughts on the team and although im not a MH fan, i fel he should probably be given the same time as Colin was..thats a heart not head judgement...

I believe MH will be gone by xmas, but i love the players he has been able to attract and some of the footbal we play...

    highlight this year..
    Last nights goals
    Adel v wet Span
And some of the the "to die for spanish football" we've played against the big sides/...
    negative
MH has finally proved my theory on managers...
Centre forwards and strikers make s**te managers....Keegan, Shearer etc

Cm and CB make the best managers and captains..they see and play the game a diffrent way to strikers....
