Add your own but off the top of my head there are many reasons to remain confident we'll stay up. We need positive outlooks and positive people around this club at the moment, as too much anxiety from the crowd really doesn't help.

    1. West Ham lost today too
    2. As did Cardiff, Hull and Swansea
    3. Palace, Stoke and Norwich only gained 1pt on this so-called disaster of a day
    4. There is a HELL of a long way to go. Some people are acting as though there are 5 games left.
    5. Poyet will be under no illusions now that we need to add pace and at least one striker
    6. Wes has completed his suspension
    7. We've taken 4pts from 2 away games and one home, which is all any reasonable fan would have demanded on Xmas day
    8. We have recruited a quick, young attacking left back. Lack of attacking fullbacks is a serious problem at home when teams sit back against us. We need that overload numerically.
9.we have Ki, Mannone and Wes playing very well atm

    10. The teams above us are **** and have some terrible fixtures, Hull have 1 home game in January ...... Chelsea!
    11. Cardiff lost a 2 goal lead at home to the bottom side and have Man City, Man Utd, Swansea, Spurs & Everton in their next away games.
    12. Nolan is banned for 3 games.
    13. Brown is back for our next game.
    14. Only Sunderland are so far active in the transfer market.

Ah smug, your perennial insult.......unless your a mag.

I have supported you on occasion, however I suspected I would be accused of this by yourself beause I;m sick of having my hopes raised only to have them dashed myself.

You are beyond the pale you really are- I;m not bothered what you think or say, you do not respect anyone esles opinion but your own.

Now, why don't you tuck your balls up your arse and shag yourself, because you are proving to be the biggest dick on this site by a country mile.

I didn't say you were a Mag did I ........ you just jump on that for your own sad purpose don't you?

If showing some faith in Sunderland, who are only 4 points from safety, makes me 'the biggest dick on this site by a country mile' the so ****.

You don't get to decide that ****wit, I ****ing hate your type who wallow in their own self pity and hate anyone with a bit of pride and faith.

    Just get ****ed.

yawn....zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz, your as predictable as today's result.

"Unless you're a Mag or a professional pessimist. " -do you have amnesia, selective recall perhaps?

You only have a plan a, insult, insults and then a **** off...........

I would be over the moon if we stayed up I really would........I'm all out of optimism this season, I used to have it in spades for this club, however it is empty.

My time is very important to me, very important - you never get it back you know......I just want to spend it in a better way at the moment.

And to be honest that probably includes debating with somebody who sees them selves as always always right.

    OK

Norwich's best player, Fer, was sent off and will miss games.

Pulis's honeymoon period is over, Palace could only manage a penalty, at home, against 10 man Norwich.

O'Shea will be fit for our next league game.

    Good stuff. Is that 16?!

Also, cardiff's owner is as nutty as they come. He's bound to cause issues and Solskjaer has no experience of managing in England.

Some folk think that OGS will make his little Scandinavian wand and make Cardiff a good side ......... with no evidence whatsoever.

It is very close at the bottom and 2 wins will make it look very different. The thoughts expressed that your home fixtures(starting with Norwich) would definitely see you safe were wishful thinking. Many teams have learnt from Liverpool under Benitez how to park the bus and the mid table teams in particular will take a draw at SOL as a job well done.
You need title winning form to get to mid table but I cannot see why you cannot stay up.
