I'm starting to find it hilarious how many WUM threads are on the Southampton board... Do Pompey fans find it hard to talk about their own club, are they more interested in us, or are they just craving attention... Whatever it is, it's hilarious! Do you reckon they know what a 'job' is? What will they do when it closes...! Anyway my point of posting this was just to say how good it is to come onto this board and find no WUM threads at all. Very good football banter in general and I have not spotted any WUm attempts on this site since I have been here. So well done to Mods and the users etc.. COYR!
lol i saw it earlier and it did make me laugh..........but you are right even though i am a bournemouth fan i can ave a debate with you Saints fans about football banter without it going over the top....
A permanent reminder of all that is bad about that site. The normal people would have complained and had him banned by now. Still if he comes over here I guess we all will be adding him to our ignore list so he will be talking to himself in the main.
I saw it. I just ignore it. Every other article is a WUM article. Then stupid fans from other clubs take the bait and start generalizing us all.
it is so much nicer being able to read a tread without having to dicpher the actually meaningful posts from the wums and arguements
To be honest, I used to enjoy the banter on the BBC version, especially with Huddersfield fans. They don't seem to have discovered not606! I totally agree though that some of the WUMming got out of hand and just spoiled some threads.
i enjoyed the banter too but there a fine line between wumming and a little bit of banter, and hopefully the banter will continue on here
God forbid they could do that. Terriers Posh and us all have tricky games this week and if we can escape without losing we will have had a good weekend I think. As for the wums i don't think that they will be a problem on here if we all refrain from responding.
If we all stick together we will be OK. Just remember that Kingsland and I cannot control it on our own. We will do what we can but you guys will need to do your bit too. Stick together as a group and we will beat them. Go as an individual and you will fail. Just remember you have the best tool of all on this site (the ignore button) Providing you use that and not take them on the better it will be because they wum for effect....if they are all ignored......no effect......the only ones that can't use the buttons of course is Kingsland and me. We still have to put up with it..........we do however have other armour we can use!
I enjoy banter. Sometimes another fan will poke fun at Saints and you laugh because it's funny and you recognise an element of truth. On some sites, it degenerates into repetitive name calling. Has anyone noticed the conversations (I hesitate to use the word) carried on top left of this site by apparent neanderthals. They just swear at each other and discuss the boring tedium of their lives. Sorry, got on soapbox. Really saying this is a great site.
