Just 2 weeks ago there was no negativity being shown towards MON. A draw and a defeat later and people are starting to get on his back again.

I like MON, I wasn't too keen at the start of the season when the football was unwatchable, but now we are sitting 12th in the table, and with the squad we posess, that's about all we deserve.

The guy has been in charge for one year, and he deserves time to assemble a team together, and then he can be judged.

We've not come close to winning anything for years despite big investment from 3 different managers, so I don't understand where the massive expectations are coming from?.. Lets give the man a chance to get his own team together, and if he fails, the board will make the right decision.

Rome wasn't built in a day, and Sunderland afc certainly won't be built in a day, so show patience and let a manager have a fair chance. For those of you that boo after games or sometimes at halftime, grow up.

I've said it before and I'll say it again; there are times when I suspect that many of our fans suffer from collective schizophrenia!

Knee jerk reactionists. Judging a team on a game by game basis is never needed during a rebuilding period. Read a poster and find a player whose fault it is.

At the moment it's one step forward and two steps back, and for as long as I can remember it has always been thus when you follow our team.
I have great faith that MoN will get it right given time and I no longer read the bile that gets put on here everytime we suffer a defeat or a poor performance.
Since when have we had a god given right to win all our games and play brilliant football every week. There are some on here that ought to give other teams in this league more credit than they do. There are no easy games in this league, get used to it for gods sake.

When you pay to watch the same tactical cock ups with hard earned money, i think any comments are valid , saturday was a classic example, i thought ten mins to go make a sub shut up and take a point home with us, its bad enough sitting in your arm chair watching a bad decision, earn, save ,travel , watch and veiws after match, if you are happy fair play to you it just so happens i am not, my money my summary

2 weeks ago people were still questioning oneil ,it's nothing to do with the reading loss it's the poor performances this season even when we win were poor and the only reason people aren't really saying anything is because its oneil ,if Bruce was still in charge there would be uproar . I take on board what your saying about needing time and I agree with you but still I'm not totally happy with things and I don't see why that should change I stand by what I say even if that makes me laughable , this is a forum to post your opinions positive or negative I would rather we lose having ago at teams rather than sit back and invite pressure it's not a style of play that suits our club , I just wonder why oneil doesn't see that ? But still good post mate some of us have to be positive hey

There is a marked difference between having a moan and calling for the managers head.
I'm sure there will be times when Man Utd fans moan about Fergie but they wouldnt want him to go.

Thats what we have to get right here.

Totally agree with what you are saying mate but, it's all about opinions in the end. Personally I'd rather they vented here than at an actual game, give it a couple if good results and everything will be hunky dory again.

no way you are spot on , so simple , dont like moaning but i do expect more, you can have an average team and still produce with the right tactics , has he forgot what brian clough done with him and the rest of that team of misfits nothing has been learnt at all it seems.
