Magnificent fightback today! Magnificent backing by the fans in the second half! Couldn't get to the game today and watched it on the net and followed some of the comments on here. Some people were actually wanting us to get hammered!!! What the fecs wrong with you people??? Arsenal are an awsome side and some of the football was fantasic, no shame there. What is shameful was some comments on here. If you don't love Newcastle, seriously, fec off and support someone else. You're not wanted here. Tossers.

Never want to see the Toon lose.

I had us down for a 3-0 beating.

At half-time really down and never expected the second half to be amazing.

Not a fan of Pardew but what ever he said, it worked.

totally agree posted this on a thread earlier

    an amazing match
an amazing comeback (ok against 10 men)

but the most amazing thing was the number of fans on here writing the rest of the season of on the evidence of 45 mins of football

and who said 'it's a funny ol game' never a truer thing said

Erm, immense! Significantly, do you think we would of got this result the season we went down? I think it was key to see that spirit is still in the team, we may be alright after all...

For me, this performance has convinced me we'll stay up comfortably. I've never seen any side show so much courage, fight, character and desire before. We were in turmoil before the match even began, then 4-0 just 26 minutes after it started and they kept fighting and pulled off one of the most miraculous comebacks in PL history. These players have had so much to deal with, Hughton's sacking, Carroll's sale. Look at the recent results, defeat to Fulham, heartbreak twice in a week against Spurs and Sunderland, the demoralising defeat to Stevenage, and a lot of these players were here when we went down. Brilliant character and resolve from the lads, they deserve moments like this.

Tiote's goal was great but it was the feeling of getting on even terms when it had looked impossible,<wizard><ok> was as much as anything that got us going wild!
