Patrick Bamford has signed for MK Dons, Todd Kane has gone to Preston and Connor Clifford to Crawley. Particularly interested to see how Bamford gets on, very highly rated and i've seen him a few times for the youngsters and he does look a proper goalscorer too. Not seen much of Clifford before but i know we've got high hopes for Todd Kane and he's been ever present for the u21's so far this season. Anyway thought i'd try start a tiny discussion on something which isn't Rafa Benitez.... Does anybody else watch our youngsters?
I bet they don't make more than 5 first team appearances for Chelsea between them whilst contracted to the club. Good luck to them though
I tend not too tbh - I don't see them having much relevance to the game I love to watch. Call me shallow if you wish.
I try to keep up with the youngsters through CTV and Connor Clifford has always impressed--but these "on loan " things never seem to lead anywhere except occasionally a permanent transfer to the club they were loaned to!
