Wouldn't call it interesting at all tbh - guessing it is from the Sun or the Daily Fail.

I was thinking of doing a rumours thread - maybe calling it "rumours from the back(side) pages" or something like that and posting the rubbish that the Sun and the like post about us.

If you want to do that, be my guest - you'd get "interesting" reactions like mine after a late night yesterday...

Silly Conte <laugh> (is that the right spelling?) ... wouldn't sell him for double that and I'm not just being parochial ... what price can you put on the 'next Claude Makelele' who is arguably already than Claude was in his pomp ... Deschamps has described Kantes as the 'complete' midfielder ... I would not be entertaining anything other than 'very silly' money ... and even then I, personally, wouldn't be selling ...

Man is going to be a full French international too - will be worth twice that at the least.

Kid is a CB and RB - could do with a backup in both those positions.

The puppet master: Jamie Vardy on role of Leicester pal Drinkwater ahead of England debut
JAMIE VARDY insists his fellow Leicester star Danny Drinkwater can pull the strings for England at Euro 2016.

please log in to view this image

Drinkwater is set to make his debut for the Three Lions in the friendly with Germany in Berlin on Saturday.

“He is the puppet master! He is the one who holds all the strings and makes sure he pulls everyone into the right places”

    Jamie Vardy
The 26-year-old one-time Manchester United reject has not played for his country since an Under-19 appearance against France almost seven years ago.

But 19-goal Vardy says Drinkwater, who has been key to Leicester’s sensational rise to the top of the Premier League, can have the world champions dancing to his tune this weekend - and then the best of Europe in the summer.

“He is the puppet master!” said Vardy. “He is the one who holds all the strings and makes sure he pulls everyone into the right places.

Sorry to burst anyone's bubble but this can only happen on new roads being built - the process to rename an existing road is ridiculously hard as proven by Raw Dykes Road (I know it is names after the canal but still makes me laugh <laugh>) which people have been trying to rename for decades.

<laugh> I lived off the Saffron Lane from age 3 (until moving away in my late 20s) ... but must have become so accustomed to the name Raw Dykes Road from the age of innocence that I have never picked up on the hilarious double meaning until your post ... excellent ... they must NEVER change it <laugh> ...
