    11th, Brighton v Q.P.R

    22nd, Derby v Forest

Some ´6 pointers´ at a crucial time of the season. Lots of football left in this season still. We´ve pulled away abit now with a 10 pts gap so these games are going to work in our favour as long as we stay consistent til May.

I still feel there is a twist or 2 left in this season & something tells me that Forest & maybe Derby will push Q.P.R right to the end & at the same time Q.P.R ain´t going to give up on 1st place. Burnley for me may just start to slip abit, I think they could be the team to lose form at the wrong time. There are all sorts of teams battling for the play offs so I´m thinking these teams in the top 8 will cancel each other out.

We could really do with Moore back but we do have a good squad with abit of strength in depth & I´m sure NP will keep all the players feet on the ground & stay focused until that final whistle goes on the 2013/14 season.

    Thoughts ?

1884, I kept thinking the same thing about Burnley but after watching them outplay Queenie's bois yesterday (where they deserved to win), I don't think they are actually the flash-in-the-pan I thought they were. Burnley are playing very good 'team' footy.

    We have
    Feb: Forest (away)
Mar: Burnley (Away) (but also Barnsley, Charlton, Blackpool, Yeovil !!!)
    Apr: Reading (away) QPR (Home)

Not terrible by any stretch of the imagination, but as we know in this league, there are NO easy games!

We can be 13 points clear of 2nd before QPR play again. They don't play until next Monday night when they play Derby at a Pride Park or whatever they call it now

Yup, if we beat Watford on Saturday and get a huge 13 point lead (14 points really with our superior goal difference!!) it would be lovely.

After next Saturdays results, (Burnley to beat Millwall / Forest to Beat Blackpool then QPR will be back in 3rd
I think Derby will then beat QPR on Monday. Wow those results would really open things up for 2nd down to 5th and the QPR fans will be in losing their minds

Think you could be right mate.
you win next week and your practically up which leaves the chasing pack after our blood.
We need some results to go our way and (with respect) we need a couple of teams to beat you soon just to take the pressure of us and put it back on your boys.
derby will be a tough game for us but at least (you'd hope) the team will have sen the other results and know exactly what they need to do. if that doesnt motivate them then they prob dont deserve to go up.
We really needed to beat burnley but thats the game. Still got time but its running out fast for us.

Worth mentioning that, should Forest beat Preston in the cup, our game may be moved. Not sure what's better, to play them now when we're in form and they've got fixture congestion (before they played today, they had four teams to play before our match compared to our one!) or to have the match later in the season when the points might not be so vital (doubt it would be that late in the season anyway, but if we have, say, 80 points on the board by the time we play them we'll virtually be up).

    15th, Forest v City (Draw)
    16th, Q.P.R v Reading (QPR)
    22nd, Burnley v Forest (Burnley)
    22nd, City v Ipswich (City)

    MAR.

    1st, Burnley v Derby (Burnley)
    8th, Brighton v Reading (Reading)
    11th, Brighton v Q.P.R (QPR)
    15th, Reading v Derby (Reading)
    22nd, Derby v Forest (Derby)
    25th, Ipswich v Derby (Derby)
    29th, Burnley v City (Draw)
    29th, Ipswich v Forest (Draw)

Thats my prediction, i don't think Brighton or Ipswich will be able to win the big games and don't see them doing any more than scraping into the playoffs like we did last year.

All going to get very interesting by the time we get down to the last 10 games of the season though hopefully we will be out of sight by then (but knowing Leicester and how we always do it the hard way, probably not)

Yes, but it didn't work out, technically. I'd rather Ed kept his mouth shut (no offence Ed!).
