    Norwich Vs Wigan
"I am going to go for a Latics away win. I can't really give you a logical footballing reason why"

    Prediction: 1-2

(NB this was a direct cut and paste from the BBC website)

The BBC must have a vet from one of the animal progs that could use a captive bolt pistol - like they do when an owner has "no further use" for a horse.

Had a horrible experience earlier this week - started listening to a match on 5live, only to discover it was being covered by "The Dream Team"...........Lawrenson and Green ! I switched to Radio3 and listened to a 4hour atonal symphony by some modern east european - it was dreadful, but it made more sense.

Yet again Lawro goes for a QPR win. Not quite sure how long its going to take before the penny drops.

I do wonder if Lawro subconsciously correlates his "guesses" for clubs like QPR with the fact that he too is overpaid and overrated, and ergo must get something right sometime, because quite simply, some barmy boss is paying him too much, so (Whiny internal Lawro voice) "I'm here on merit me".

Lawro is a bit like a supertanker it's going to take him half a season to catch on to the fact that he has got it seriously wrong on teams like Norwich,Swansea and West Brom.On the other hand he has QPR heading for the Champions League..some expert.

You'd never believe he's been an "expert" <yikes> pundit for so many years - especially when his name is an anagram of "workman learns" <doh>

Or better still (a little licence/imagination required) "normal sw@nker"!!

Can we just have one "Lawro Moaning Mega Thread"? We seem to have a new thread every week for his prediction, why not just recycle the last one?

The idiocy of this man knows no bounds!

Can we all chip in and buy Beef a train ticket up to Manchester to 'have a word' with him?

This just means there is an illogical reason which has nothing to do with football.

Yeah, and a stopped clock is right twice a day.Having predicted QPR to win almost every home game he was pretty certain to get it right at some point, even then it took until Christmas. Before thy get too excited I would say this,a win and three draws against teams in the relegation melee isn't anything to get carried away over.

I wouldn't mind the prediction if it wasn't backed up with utter crap. Almost worse that the "for no footballing reason" we've all had a feeling that can be summed up but here he has said that because we're on form and they are not, they will win. This isn't for no footballing reason it's against the footballing reason.

Rather like a gambler who always doubles on Red he will now predict we lose every game until we actually do lose. Casinos make a fortune from that mentality so lets hope the same holds true for us.

Standard 2-0 home defeat prediction again this week along with this late contender for the 2012 No **** Sherlock award

"They have had a really good run and it wouldn't surprise me if they went a few games without winning"

    No, really?

Oh, and he's got koo pee arr to win again. But of course. That'll be them up to a very creditable 30 points with safety all but guaranteed in his little prediction league, with us staring down the barrel on 10 points <doh>

    Happy New Year Lawro <ok>
