Saw Dyer this morning on SSN. He was asked about Taraabt and said that from the few times he has seen him play since coming to QPR, he was impressed etc and was urging Adel to consider that the Premier League was the most exciting place to play etc. Just seemed like a vague sniff of hope that Adel has actually been training with the team. It would be such a boost to be able to keep the lad. I feel certain NW must be working hard on doing just that. I am also pleased to have won 13 nil since Norwich won their friendly 7 nil. Once again, another small sniff of hope in the air. I know it is rather fragile but without hope, where would we be?
I think we're all going to be pleasantly surprised. If we signed no one else warnock will have them fired up for bolton
Nothing to do with your eyes, Northolt, it's just a natural acclimatisation to expectations under the Goons...
Hope will always be there even when blind faith withers. Just need something solid to base our hopes on...
"It would be such a boost to be able to keep the lad. I feel certain NW must be working hard on doing just that." From Warnock's public comments about the Taarabt situation I think he has given up on doing the father figure job he did last term. He has sent him off to get the situation sorted one way or another rather than chasing him around like he did last close season. Taarabt must commit himself to the club he ends up at otherwise he will be useless (as we saw several times last season). Sadly, I'm coming round to thinking that we may be better off without him. If he stays and does well he will be chasing the big transfer he clearly yearns for every week. Worse, if he stays but does not commit himself he will be cancerous.
Some Hope......thought that the name of our latest signing. maybe we could sign his brothers, Bob, No and Always......
I will be glad when the whole thing is sorted out i dont want AT to go i think we will miss him next season but it needs to be sorted quick.
WBA............If we don't sign anyone else Bolton will beat us on Aug 13th. They're looking very good in pre-season by all accounts.
