From today's Daily Mirror. It is rumoured this morning that Lord Bell head of Chime plc, the leading London Public Relations Agency with major PR contracts world wide is one of a number of PR agencies that have made enquiries about the availability of Ralph Krueger. Chime amongst other leading PR agencies are keen on bringing Southampton's Chief Executive Ralph Krueger to their business. Chime are looking to add to their very strong North American team and see Krueger as the man to play a key part in their ambitions and to help them become the leading UK PR company in North America. They are also keen to develop their work in Europe and with a £60 recruitment budget they are looking to recruit a number of PR consultants. People close to Chime are saying that Ralph is their prime target and insiders at Southampton FC say he is excited by the prospect of the move. Lord Bell is rumoured to have sounded Krueger out about the move and Ralph has told the football club's owner Katharina Liebherr that he doesn't want to miss out on this opportunity so late in his career. Katharina Liebherr has so far said nothing and the club has remained silent on the matter. A spokesman for Chime said "We have been most impressed with the work that Ralph has done at Southampton and we are keen to get him on board as quickly as possible". The Spokesman went on to Say "We have been particularly impressed with the way he has been able to oversee the departure of a great many footballers from the club and at the same time prevent rioting and unrest in the streets of Southampton. We have contracts with despots all over the world and we need skilled PR people who can achieve these kind of outcomes at a national and international level. Chime are rumoured to have offered to double Krueger's current salary and believe the acquisition will go through very smoothly with Krueger becoming one of their key PR Managers as early as next week. Southampton's supporters are seemingly in support of Ralph moving on and Krueger is the this morning hot on twitter with many fans saying "Go for it Ralph" and " Grab the chance matey" while his favourite is the one from a fan who said "Ralph you go with our blessing, don't hang around a moment longer old chum". Ralph told the Mirror he has the full support of the Saints fans in this move with many encouraging him to take up the post as soon as possible and that the people in Southampton have been dancing in the street with joy at his good luck and waving banners saying "Go Now". ---------------------------------- Rather sadly not one single word of the above is true.
