The Greenwich Goddards is coming back, not in the same shop, but the same family, work is taking place at the moment.
They're taking ove the chip shop that used to be the Cricketers. Thank **** Franks the Yanks **** and chip shop has gone - dreadful chips and massively overpriced.

Opening Date To Be Confirmed, I will keep you informed.

    I am salivating already.

Look at this review for your one AH, tut tut tut:

I used to like this place and go often as I liked their food and they used to do really great thick milk shakes.

But the last time I went there, they gave me the wrong milk shake (vanilla instead of chocolate -a terrible crime) and when I complained they said it was correct, and their only excuse was they make them cheaply and dont use much chocolate any more to save costs, despite the fact the price had gone up.

They just shrugged and refused to change it, which was a great shame and costly for them as they lost a regular customer and I wouldn't go back.

Prior to that, I always enjoyed it, but nice pies or not, the lack of customer service on that day put me off any future visits.

A bit of anorak research tells us he wrote this review on the day of the 2-1 away win at Leyton Orient. So it leads me to believe that his pre match ritual of pie and chocolate milkshake was ruined. Whilst attending the game he would have seen Mkandawire open the scoring for Orient, thus leaving him a bit dismayed by the first half performance. He inevitably associated it to his pre match ritual being ruined, so he left at half time as the rest of the Addicks booed and chanted ''4-4-2'', and headed home to write the most ferocious review ever on View London.

It was only after he woke (he passed out from anger), that he realised CAFC turned the game around and won 2-1. He felt alarmingly ashamed of himself for his backstabbing that he decided he was no longer worthy of pie and milkshake. To this day he has survived on a staple diet of moussaka and innocent smoothies. True story.

A few years ago I was on holiday with my family in the Isle of Wight. We went to this chip shop on Ryde seafront and I ordered cod and chips for everyone. As I'm standing there waiting I notice a fingernail (or perhaps a toenail) in the tray of saveloys. I say to the bloke serving "Forget the order, pal, there's a nail in the saveloys", to which he replies "What's the ****ing problem? You're having the fish!"
