I think this season is make or break for a lot of our youngsters. Due to the club ****ing up the transfer window, if I were Cotts I'd tell the youngsters that their positions at the club are on the line. If the perform well up until January then they'll stay at the club, but anyone that shows that they're not good enough at this level will be off. It's harsh, but with the squad we have right now we simply cannot afford any stragglers.

Personally, I'm not sold on Burns, but he should be given a fair chance, as should Reid, Batten, and Vyner. Hell, put some of the academy kids on the bench, and give them their chance too. The worst case scenario is that we lose some games and release some youngsters that weren't good enough. It's what is likely to happen anyway!

Good to see Burns scoring at international level. He really needs to step it up here though, Reid has which means Burns is more than capable.
