The merry-go-round continues. If we think back to the last transfer window, we had the same frenzy of speculation, odds, opinions and sources. Amazingly (or not), it appears that Warnock actually knew what he was doing despite failing in his bid to sign Walters. I think i am going to sit back and see what Warnock does and exercise some faith that he knows his job - he has proved that to us I think. Of course, it being QPR, there are other factors lurking that MAY be a spanner in the works. Sadly, we the long suffering fans, have no control over that either. It is going to be a different year than last. Either way, sit back and enjoy the ride!
How can you possibly say that. The England manager thought Heskey was going to score a hatrick in the last 5 mins against Germany
Peter Crouch-We can all dream, I would love him to sign, but he probably wont sign. Emile Heskey- because he's so ****, he will sign by the end of the week (unless Warnock is involved). Jay Bothroyd- Decent player, free agent, sign him up,. CMS- probably not good enough, too expensive, it's a no from me. Matthew Upson- Good prem experience, best days are past him, worth a punt though. Carlton Cole- same as Heskey
Heskey? Aargh! The others are OK but HESKEY. If you want a 33 year old who "works hard makes the rest of the team look good" as previous managers have said, then pick me! Like Emile I run around gamefully (or headlessly), am bad in the air, have no pace, only play 2 competitive matches a year and score about 1 in 6. I can just about do a step over WITHOUT tripping over the ball (remember his World Cup classic), weigh half as much and will play for peanuts (but prefer cheddar McCoy's). Just no.
QPR Matt : Does that mean I can chuck Heskey in the robbie keane box of 'don't waste your money' box?
...at least a time machine would show Keane to be good. I'd rather start the season with Emile Zola up front!
