Comes down to money and Henry's conditioning. Drogba is making it happen from the bench for Chelsea. Henry could do the same. Barrow or Henry for the last 15 minutes of a match ..... I'd go with Henry. Money has to be right.

I cant promise not to jump on the pitch and give him a roasting from behind if he did join - love the guy - LEGEND in every meaning of the word.

He did it for the Gunners only a couple of seasons ago and made an impact. Whether he would join any other Prem club when his heart is with Arsenal is another matter - not just the $$$

The guy is a legend but come on he is too old now for the premiership and would not be able to have the speed in his legs today, It comes to us all in the end...

Imagine if your academy determined your team. Football would be so much better.

Not a fan of good football them?
Without the foreign stars the Premier League would rank alongside the Swedish or Norwegian Leagues.

    Swans to play QPR

    Cornell
    Jazz Bartley Ash Talyor
    Britton Shelvey Carroll
    Dyer Donnelly Routledge

    or would you prefer

    Cornell
    Shephard Roberts Jones
    Britton Carroll King Fulton
    SHeehan Donnelly

No Swedish and Norwegians are genetically bad at playing football. Denmark is the only one of those who are genetically very good. Well, I am a fan of good football but I still think it's important to have english/welsh players on english/welsh teams. In fairness a lot of the clubs do a great job in this department, so long may it continue.

I mean take a look at Man city how can you seriously go and support that? I do not understand. Yes they may have great players, but you know they're only there for a big paycheck and nothing else.

Spend 5 or so million on a well planned out striker deal early in transfer window, sell both of our top strikers for top money during the window and have big money to dabble in a top striker hunt in the summer .

Not sure how this thread had become a debate about foreign players lol.

Anyway - in terms of Henry and arsenal fans - they worship the ground he walks on.......nationality doesn't come into it.

It seems our supporters see some players are more foreign than others :undecided:

Henry was one of the greatest players to grace the Premier League ... in his day.

Bring him in to coach but paying for a player so far past his sell by date would be silly IMO.

And would he be too big a character for a young manager? Not a dig at Monk just just any young manager in general - he's a huge man and a huge presence.

We're still the only Premier League team that Mr Henry has played against but not scored against aren't we?

Not having Wilf about is going to detract from the team as we are set up at the moment but we do have Gomis who could be improve with a run of games but we could also play with no recognised striker.

Our attacking midfield player are all good and we have played without attackers before (Sinclair & Borini), in fact the way they weaved across the pitch was magic. I'd be inclined to experiment with that.
