He's chose the Bundesliga over the Prem which is good news for us in my opinion :- Salomon Kalou will not be the man to fill the hole left by Fabio Borini it seems, with reports in Germany claiming the Ivorian is undergoing a medical ahead of a switch to Hertha Berlin. Sunderland's interest in the former Chelsea forward was all but confirmed by an irate Gus Poyet after the Manchester United game last week and further fuelled when he was suddenly dropped from Lille's squad that faced Porto in the Champions League on Tuesday. However, it looks like he is now Bundesliga-bound, which probably means Sunderland have settled on Argentinian Ricky Alvarez to fill the vacant left-wing berth in the squad. At least there is only a few days left of this total madness, eh?!
Not seen anywhere that Alvarez can play left wing, thought he was a creative attacking mid. Shame about Kalou, would have been a mega coup.
Not sure if I agree mate. He was prolific in his early days but he's hardly set the world alight since leaving Chelski. If he was that good why would he be going to Hertha Berlin? And he's 29 so age is against him.
I still hold my hands up and admit I got over carried away when I compared McClean to Bale when he burst on the scene Lol. How wrong was I?!
I don't remember you saying that mate but I bloody will from now on! That's a shocking shout that mate.
I'm happy to bring it up and take the pi££ out of myself mate. It'd be good if we could get a thread going of similar changers posters have admitted to over the years.
The thing is he seems quite pleased with himself when, really, he should be thoroughly ashamed. Dam disgrace I reckon.
Ha, not at all matey. We've all got carried away when something looks good only to be slapped in the face. Some of us have the balls to hold our hands up and admit we were wrong.
Absolutely right mate. I`ve thought `brilliant` when `****e` has turned into `what do I know` Happens regular that does.
