    It's often more fun that way, some foreign player whose name you have to learn to pronounce comes in and tears the league up. Granted Pahars' name wasn't difficult but what a little gem that man was.

    Problem with buying import is it increases the possibility of a flop, hence the English premium. Let's hope our scouts do their jobs!

    I think we'll get the odd defender from Scandanavia and a striker [maybe two] from Serie A. Of course, mine's a total guess, but I bet it's as good as anyone has heard from SSN or other hype sports news sites.

    Doesn't surprise me we're not intersted in Sharp and Maynard.......just got a hunch our next striker will be an up and coming foreign import where we will get more value for our money.

    Because we need someone with Premier League experience and score goals. A foreigner would be another risk and we can't take one in our position now at the top.

    At the end of the day most of the names being banded about on here.......are pretty good championship players playing for not particularly good championship clubs....maybe NA and NC might think there is a better option to take our football club forward?????
