Sol is a knobhead

    Was a pretty **** signing like, but I suppose Hughton couldn't have known that at the time.

    Anyway, this is a prime example of when you're 'past it' and overstay your welcome. He could have retired and been known as one of the best defenders the EPL had ever seen when he was at his best. However, he went on too long and tried to grasp at every club opportunity he could find. At 36, he's now known as that old man who is well past it and should just hang up his boots.

    Shame really.

    Well at least the dressing room will be minus 1 more injury riddled, past it mercenary. Whyy he was on £40,000 a week at the age of 35 is beyond me

    He's been utterly dire. Couldn't give less of a **** if he had his colon removed.

    Good riddance, just a shame Hughton has taken the blame for what seemed like a decent move at the time.

    Would hate that. He's clearly bitter that he is past it and 4th/5th choice so is rinsing the club for 40k a week.

    MERGED!! Seems to have created some kind of wormhole when you click that link.

    I don't think it was a bad signing. He was only ever going to be fourth choice. As it turned out we didn't really need him, but it's better to be safe than sorry. Hopefully we'll sign someone like Samba in the summer or give Kadar his place in the squad.
