I think he'll be missed. He was a fan favourite and maybe that covered up his ability to cock up simple things. He is very much a good player though. The face he can out dribble most strikers in our league says a lot about his ability. Good luck Sol
A very good football player and one of the best we have seen down here for some time. Very skillful and comfortable on the ball but he does cause alot of unnecessary trouble for himself and the team. Its sad to see him go but he just isnt a Nigel Pearson type of player, he wants someone who will head it and kick it when they need to and someone who will just do the job. As soon as we signed Wes Morgan i thought Bamab's days was numbered Thanks Sol and i will never forget you debut, first touch in English football and he scored past Joe Hart
Stop it Strings @StringerSport #lcfc confirm Sol Bamba has left as was mentioned on The Forum a month agol. The exodus continues, next? The chase for Chester must be close
I think we will make a decent take it or leave it offer for Chester. Probably around 3M. I dont care what the Hull fans say 3M is a decent offer for a championship defender and its 10 times what they paid. Weather its good enough for them to accept it a different matter but its a very good offer
I'd rather we didn't go for Chester, we learned last year that just because a player was successful the year before, doesn't mean he will repeat it (im talking about Mills btw)
But there isnt alot, Pearson knows Chester and if he thinks he is going to do the business then im all for it But i dont think we will get him
This has got the Hull fans scared @Signings_TDD Leicester City are close to signing Hull City defender James Chester #lcfc #hcfc
Its just someone who nicks info off others and passes it off as their own. He nicked it from Stringers tweet
Yes but correct me if I'm wrong Proud, I'd have thought Stringers' tweets would generally have had some substance??
Sad to see him go - technically one of the best defenders in the squad but maybe a bit erratic on the pitch. But I'm not sure about this 'not a Pearson player' thing. He was first choice when he first arrived (causing SSL to have his strop) and only lost his place due to the ACON and then won it back before the end of the season. I think it's more likely that the wages they offered were enticing to him and something we now can't compete with. Tidy profit on him but we still could have he more.
