Can we please put an end to this. Forget the reasons, but making jokes about disabled people is both degrading and pathetic. Once a year, I have to visit a client where all the staff are disabled, including one lady who is no more than 4ft tall, is in a wheelchair permanant, yet she carries on as best she can. Every year I come out of there feeling very humble and wonder why I moan about my life. Next time you come across a severely disabled person, take time to chat to them. Just like you, they are human, just being dealt an unfair hand in life. And whatever you do, DON'T patronise them. They will despise you for it
