Bristol City FC ‏@bcfctweets 8m MP: "We were flat all over. We should be good enough and we have to stand up to be counted." Bristol City FC ‏@bcfctweets 9m Tonight's skipper Marlon Pack labels it "our worst performance of the season". He adds: "We know we haven't been good enough." Just a question - WHO's THE BLEEDING MAN IN CHARGE.....?
The faith is wavering now. He said pre-match how much this competition meant to the team/club, and with NO game this weekend and on the back of a good display last weekend, he changes, drops and chops it all about!........I realy dont know what to think anymore.
We all know who's in charge, but once they're on the pitch it's down to individuals to perform to the best of their ability. Some of them obviously can't give a toss... Wize... I know we're all peed off, but there's no need to shout THAT loud!
Mate I am trying to support the guy but tonight was atrocious, he signed them, he instructs them, he trains them, he picked them and then slated them..... That's the fans he has criticised, the players he has blamed, who's next...?
Don't give a toss about this competition but O'Driscoll's time in charge must end now. Too many bad results and the same tired old excuses. We are going nowhere but down under him and even the board must be questioning his ability. Seems to want to blame anyone but himself, but as the manager the buck stops with him. Transition ? Arse !
I do not like tweets as they are such a limited medium. Anyway Sean O 'driscoll has not criticised fans as a whole only a section of them and the negative impact they can have a la Johnson in particular. Some fans are twats and don't help by not being supportive. Last home game he praised support. He has also praised the performance of the team. Last Saturday he praised the team, but pointed out individual errors, silly ones cost a win. Bang on I was there it was a cracking performance at times. Last night he is questioning the effort of the team for what seems the first time as it appears they have fallen below an expected performance level. Can't see what is wrong with that. Effort is expected.
Good. McCinnes used to come out with "there is no shortage of effort and commitment from players after defeats when the likes of Adomah and Maynard where walking around the pitch, or worse.
Just got Scottish Premiership Manager of the Month.................. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/24444909
I was one of the last supporters of Del. I really really wanted him to succeed and I kept the faith long after a lot of people on here were calling for his head. Eventually I also saw the light... Looking back he was probably out of his depth, and bought the wrong players, but what is SOD's excuse ??
