This is not meant to be an anti SOD thread, but i listened to his interview about yesterdays game against Posh, WOW they arent getting any better are they?
He sounds as if we were ok but he says "goals change games", no s&@t sherlock!

His biggest term is "decision Making" and then he says the players are still making the wrong ones which, get this "has been a problem now and in the past", well what can i say?

I am not saying i want SOD out, and that after just 6 games we are f@@ked, but if he really knows the problems why isnt he working on this?

If we worried a little bit more about imposing our game on the other team, and let them worry about stopping us ( at home anyway) and played Bryan out wide, who has caused loads of problem s for opponents this season, perhaps we would have a slightly better display which in turn would keep EVERYONES morale up?!

I know its a bit of a football cliche, but there is a way to lose games, and that yesterday IMHO wasnt.

Rant over, now over to you peeps..............

We are down sizing mate, no Ashton Vale, a refurbished Ashton Gate, sell off all of our Championship players, changes at boardroom level, changes in coaching staff, sign up mainly lower cost players and freebies, smaller squad, make a load of staff redundant, crap support staff and IT services..

The only expensive items we kept is the head coach, Louis (even Louis took a pay cut) and Marvin, makes you think what are the suits up to...

'The only expensive items we kept is the head coach, Louis and Marvin'

Players took a huge 'hit' in salary for relegation.
To mention Marvin as 'expensive' surprises me to say the least Wiz. He's a bargain whatever we pay him.

Aim some fire at the likes of Fielding, Kilkenny etc etc or Pearson or Taylor who seem continually injured.
THEY are the expensive ones - even if we paid them a tenner a match.

As for listening to SOD's interview.
    I can't.
I wonder if players are equally inspired.

SoD is not good in front of a microphone - I think his programme notes are very good.

The players say he is good to play for - they know what he expects

Remember JET came to us because he wanted to play for him again

I don't listen to SOD's interviews. Not because I don't like him but my ****ing god he is boring to listen to. He speaks to the ground constantly plays with his hair or ears and mumbles most of his words and worst of all everything he is asked he doesn't really give a straight answer, A bit like a politician, Ask him about the game he will chat about a player, Ask him about a player he will talk about the game. Ask him about how great it was to beat our local rivals he talks about the fans at the end. ANSWER THE ****ING QUESTIONS SOD!

He'd have a lot more allies and sympathy if he'd just show some emotion occasionally

After yesterdays shocker would have been a good time to say 'I'm getting these ****ers back in at 09.00 tomorrow morning to learn from their mistakes' not

    'It's small margins'

Any idiot can spout **** like that

Every time I find one I like to say they are my favourite, they leave not long after or get injured. So mines Kilkenny

Yep I agree Kelly is definitely being missed. Pack is doing a good job in his position but would like to see Pack further up filed as I think his passing could carve teams apart.

Yep, Marv's my favourite player right now.

In the past it was John Galley, then Gowie and Norm. Loved SuperBob, Aggo, Jackie, Scot, Mickey Bell, Tins and Basso as well.

They gave everything and more for City - just like Marv.

RODney - who's your favourite ? Other than Kilkenny <laugh>

I'm not announcing that yet, as I said whenever I name my favourite player they leave or get injured. So hopefully if I say Kilkenny all our dreams are answered <laugh>

But I always thought and hopefully still do when he returns from injury Kelly will turn out to be a great player. I know you say he's lightweight but he hounds players down and creates a bit of panic in them.

Joe Bryan I feel will also go on to be a cracking player and probably get snapped up off us. Also Booby Reid can go on to be great as well, both of them for little uns are not afraid to tackle and surprisingly good in the air.

Baldock alongside a good big forward can be like Turner and Taylor in form.

Pack is probably one of the best passers of the ball we have had for a long time.

But sorry Kilkenny just shades it
