Bristol City FC ‏@bcfctweets 28m SO'D: "We're trying to look at the situation. It's a young team; the average age of the team is 22, it was 27 last year." Bristol City FC ‏@bcfctweets 28m SO'D: "We try to be open and honest. The players are committed. There's a desire to be successful." Bristol City FC ‏@bcfctweets 28m SO'D: "Both keepers have done well. I thought Frank, aside from the opening goal, had a good game on Saturday." Bristol City FC ‏@bcfctweets 27m SO'D: "We've used Elliot Parish in the cup. We wouldn't change a player for one mistake. It's just a goalkeeping error gets highlighted."
'I thought Frank, aside from the opening goal' SOD's not getting it. His head is so far up his ........... Currently we are so fragile, you can forget the penalty save, we were already beat by then. There is no confidence in the side and that mistake killed us. What's this 'we're a young side therefore blah blah blah'. Pack,Reid and Bryan are the youngest AND currently the best we have.. Where we're fu***d is our organisation (SOD), especially our back 4 and some of the senior players are not up to it. Wagstaffe, Fielding, O'Connor, Harewood etc Don't tell me O'Connor's the answer, he's no more a good central defender than fly. Great penalty Saturday ! The poor sod is doing a job he's not cut out for.
After some of the horror shows at home over the last couple of years where we were shipping 5 or so goals in some games, you'd think that this would be the one area where the Manager would put all of his focus but we are just as bad this season and are giving away stupid goals for fun. Hard though it was to take, I could at least look at losing 3-5 to Blackburn who the season before had been in the Prem. As someone once said, if you don't concede, you don't lose.
Aaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh ****ing Kilkenny's getting back to fitness, who ****ing cares
