Bristol City FC ‏@bcfctweets 27m SO'D: "People say we need a 1-0 scrappy win and that was close but we're honest enough to know that wasn't a great performance." Bristol City FC ‏@bcfctweets 31m SO'D: "We nearly gifted them a couple of things. They earned their goal and it was a good finish." Bristol City FC ‏@bcfctweets 32m SO'D: "Oldham's game plan has been to close down and they've done it well. You need things to drop for you." Bristol City FC ‏@bcfctweets 33m SO'D: "One win isn't going to suddenly flick a switch. We've still got the same deficiencies to contend with." Hang on just a cotton picking minute! If I employed a manager who said those things after yet another dismal performance he would be sacked on the spot. Do we really have to put up with his verbal negativity, and stating the clearly obvious faults with our team, much longer because by my estimation he has failed on all fronts as follows: 1. Getting us relegated last year when many thought we could have stayed up. 2. Bringing in lot's of players that supposedly fitted his playing style that just haven't cut the mustard. 3. Making weird substitutions at the wrong time. 4. Talking a load of garbage to the media and still not addressing the on-field problems. I could go on and on but if my memory serves me correctly we have been addressing all these issues for years and still no-one comes up with the answers. What is so wrong about our club that makes us such a joke in the eyes of many while we continue dropping off the earth, yet alone the radar? All this talk about the 5 pillars is simply a lame excuse to cover up our biggest issue, which is a long term inability by the top brass to run a successful football club. An example of how not to manage a football club is clearly on display down in BS3 and my suspicion is that the rot will be allowed to continue until such time as a fairy princess arrives waving a magic wand. To say I know the answer would be an outright lie but then the same can be said about all the paid mercenaries at Ashton Gate.
