It sounded great on 20p last night. Reality today - Tangle launching the ball 60 yards every time from the back. Sorry SOD but that tactic is fuc**ng mental. SOD said last night that Kilkenny will have a big part to play next season. Sorry SOD that is also fuc**ng mental. That prat should never wear another red shirt. Today was as bad a performance that I've ever seen at Ashton Gate. No pride,passion,skill,energy,shape.......... NOTHING ! For all his tactical acumen SOD's personality worries the fu*k out of me.
It's got to go down as the worse I have seen since losing to Cardiff 6-0 and I'm in two minds if it was worse than that.
I am starting to wonder about our future under SOD, and his ramblings about the way the team will re-invent itself concerns me even more. Some of his decisions regarding team selection and style of play, particularly away from home, leave me wondering. Will now be interesting to see the moves during the summer break and I think his future at our club will be seriously tested during the off-season and the early part of our schedule. Hope he gets it right as failure in League One is not an option.
And some of our fans rate Nyaclanga.. he would look out of place at the gas he's that bad.. As for the rest of the wasters, I hope you steal money off another club, not ours
I rarely have a go at the team........today however was one of the worse display's I have ever seen. Last week I watched Accrington Stanley at the Rovers, Stanley where head & shoulders above City!!! never thought I would ever say that......
Has it never occurred to anyone that whilst there was even still a slim chance, the players mostly fought on (to the best of their ability). Now we are down, there was very little appetite for the game and those who have been told they are out clearly has very little interest yesterday. You can quote me professional pride and all that but some yesterday (and I exclude Cunningham, Heaton, Davies, Baldock and Heaton from this), human nature meant that some frankly couldn't give a fcuk.....
You exclude Davies? He's one of the victims who looks like he doesn't give a **** week in week out.. He's just a slightly taller Brett Pitman
I still don't understand why we didn't play the Academy players, nothing to lose, experience to gain.
He said he didn't play them out of respect to the other clubs in the relegation battle, they probably wished we did play the academy players now. I suspect against Charlton we should see them as its a nothing game to either side. Plus I doubt he could put up with watching what we all watched Saturday
We are all sick of the rhetoric, excuses, crap but fundementally wrong decisions made, and most importantly the ****ty performances and results under Lansdown Snr and Jnr, Sexstone, Dawe, various hopeless managers and a whole bunch of wastrel players over the last few years. I include O'Driscoll and side kick in this as they are now part of it. They should all STFU and let the football do the talking from now on because the only way to stop our constant criticism is to play like heroes, flight like Lions and get the results we want.
