As you all know,i am a massive SOD fan,i love his take on football. But sean if we are going down take us down fighting, trying to score goals. I do not think many fans will have a go at you if we go down. That fault clearly is with the board and owner. But fans want our team to go down fighting. I am going to Derby next Saturday,I want to see us attack Derby. Just may be we can get a result. I would have taken three points from the wolves,Derby games. Loose this one and the fat lady is going to start singing. Win this one ,and results need to go our way, then we still have a small chance. Lets go out trying to win and not sitting back, let teams worry about our stengths. Please start with two strikers sam and davies we are not going to score many goals with one up front.
Im not going Derby now. I can think of better ways to spend my 60 quid. So its going towards my holiday funds.
Agree with all that Shiny, I would hold no grudges against any player or manager who clearly puts the effort into win the game. If we lose trying, because the other team are simply better, or had a bit more luck then fair enough thats football, I expect that. Its disappointing, but you accept it, because its a game of football. But I won't accept zero effort to get 3 points. Playing for draws when your in the relegation zone is pointless. So come on SOD, take your mastermind home tactics away as well. The other team cant score if we have the ball!
The last time a Bristol city player but the ball in the next away from home was on new years day ffs! The last time we won away was December 8th!
I've never been able to understand why teams want to change their tactics away from home to supposedly play safe. Surely all managers want to win every game and if you approach any game with a negative attitude then you will probably end up with negative results and yesterday was a classic example of what I mean. Our home record has improved dramatically under Sean so why does he feel it necessary to take any other formations and tactics on the road? It just doesn't make sense to me. Like everyone has said we need to take our home winning form to every away game from now on and just hope it isn't too late. If we are about to die the Championship death then we need to fight with every ounce of strength left in our bodies and not sit around trying to blame everyone else for our problems. Leave that to the politicians! You get one goal at a time and then immediately look for the next one and the next one after that and ONLY when you leave the pitch knowing that there was nothing more that you could have done do you have any right to consider the performance acceptable. Wins are the only answer to our problems and if the players don't have a clue how to do that then we may as well give up now. Come on Sean we must do better than yesterday and the solution is solely in your hands - deal with it.
