    ... how long before Swansea City F.C. pay £10,000,000.00 for a player?

    The record signings in recent years have been;

    1) Ashley Williams,2008,£400,000.00.

    2) Craig Beattie,2009,£800,000.00.

    3) Scott Sinclair,2010,£1,000,000.00.(£500,000.00 initially,plus a further £500,000.00)

    4) Danny Graham,2011,£3,500,000.00.

    5) Ki,2012,£6,000,000.00.

    Assuming the Club retain their Premier League status,will it happen in 2013,2014,or is that a figure we would never countenance?

    Could well happen next season IMO. There's clearly an emerging pattern there.

    Thanks mabon.

    I didn't include Sinclair,because his initial fee was £500,000.00.

    However,his fee did eventually rise to a million,so I should have included him.

    I have editted now and he sits proudly in the list.

    So long as it isn't for a jarvis or fletcher <yikes> and for a player who is genuinely brilliant, I will be happy.

    I rate Jarvis He tore us apart at home last season! 10 million is a bit over priced tho id say £6-7 mill is his value.

    maybe in a couple of seasons if we are still in the premiership and that will only be because of inflation like every thing in life......we are proof that you don't have to pay big bucks to be successful and i hope we continue in that trend...
