Got this from Foxsports, should be a good warm up for Ascot: So You Think appears set for his second Irish romp this weekend, with competition expected to strengthen only at Royal Ascot early next month. There are 10 nominations for the 2000m race, and none, bar So You Think, is outstanding. Entries include Campanologist, who ran fourth of six at Newmarket last month, his first start since finishing down the track in last year's Melbourne Cup. Dermot Weld, Ireland's "orange tiger", will start 12-time winner Famous Name. Weld said he was happy to take on the former Aussie. "We realise we are taking on an exceptionally talented racehorse in So You Think but Famous Name is very well and takes his chance," Weld told the Racing Post. So You Think's trainer, Aidan O'Brien, has six of the 10 Gold Cup entries, with both Windsor Palace and Grand Admiral possible pacemakers. So You Think's price proves not only that UK bookies are now mindful of his class following a 10-length first-up stroll at The Curragh, but also that he is yet to encounter A-list rivals. Workforce, last season's Epsom Derby and Prix de L'Arc de Triomphe winner, had been touted as a possible Gold Cup rival but will bypass the race and instead might first clash with So You Think at Royal Ascot. So You Think is a probable Prince Of Wales Stakes runner at the royal meeting. Workforce is the $3.75 pre-post favourite for Britain's premier weight-for-age race, the King George and Queen Elizabeth Stakes, at Ascot on July 24. So You Think is the $4.50 second favourite for the King George
I hope the horse can have an easy win Pro. Nice to see that that Ryan Moore has opted to ride the horse on Sunday, in preference to Dick Turpin who takes on the champion Goldikova in the G1 Prix d'Ispahan at Longchamp, also on Sunday. The Weld horse looks pretty handy though. I should imagine that So You Think has the wood on his stable mates. I'll be a nervous couple of minutes for me mate.
He will win Cyc, think he will win well and set things up for Ascot. Cannot wait to see a match up with Workforce if it happens, still believe So You Think will win.
