..... with his blazered-up entourage on an all expenses 1st class 'fact finding' mission to Brazil and to 'make friends'* <doh>

They'll probably spend more time there than the team will.

*I'm not insinuating this has anything to do with long legged bronzed South American ladies who charge by the hour.

Love South American ladies, you never know if they're going to take you home or hit you with a brick.

I would love to go to Brazil for the World Cup, but will now have to win a substantial amount on the lottery if I'm going to get there..

I'd love to go for the crack but, having seen England in France & Germany I have to say the standard of our football is significantly inferior to the level of support.

Just like watching Sunderland in fact.

read this on another forum : how feasible it would be ...I dunno?

Cheapest world cup ever! £68 return Brazil.

Fedex Cargo flight to Dakar, Senegal (1 day). £52.00
Catch ferry to Cape Verde Islands (1 day). £1.50
Jump aboard the tanker to French Guiana (2 days). Free
Catch the train to Rio (6 days). £14.50

Watch world cup on beach tv screens.

Start a fight after the final, get deported, free flight home.

    That's the plan......;)
