...and we are not bottom! We were well adrift a few weeks ago, now up one place and within touching distance. Perfect weekend.
Three wins and people'd start taking us seriously. Question is, have we got the necessaries in our tank atm? Well, with one of the components being called 'Arry, it's a pretty good start.
I was thinking along the same lines mate. Three wins or even two wins and a draw, could see us out of the r places. But I didn't want to get ahead of myself. You never know. Football eh? ( Soccer to some. ) A good run of results and the last five months of misery threads will be resigned to history. But realistically we'll be in and around the same position. Let's wait and see. Supporting QPR is never dull is it? Any positive result at Newcastle would be good.
I am not allowing myself to get at all excited about future prospects though I was screaming with the best of them at LR on Saturday. One reflection I've had is how most people had Wigan completely written off in March / April and then they put on a little run that clawed them out to safety. We have a chance to put that run together much earlier than Wigan last year so there is a lot to play for as 74, Matt and DT3 and others have been saying. It is indeed never dull supporting QPR though sometimes quite depressing!!
Exactly RTID. We have to capitalise and go on a run now. Reading have one win aswell and they have not gone on that run and now look. Earlier in the season the players all said one win and we will push on - now we have that win it is crucial that it is followed up well.
Would love a win at Newcastle, would be happy with a draw, sadly we don't have a good record there. Have seen the next lot of games for teams around us and we have a good chance to make up ground. COYR
Its not the worst start in the top division, I don't discount anything pre PL as I was there on the terraces and it was real enough to me as I recall
