I was thinking probably play one up front IE Maynard as he will keep two of there guys out of play. Midfield would have to be about protecting a weak defence and keeping the ball to build up attacks as Maynard will be marked out the game! Id have stead playing slightly advanced of the of Kilkenny and Cisse with Adomah and Woolford who is more orthodox. I think this midfield will hold the ball and Cisse will be good in front the back 4. Defence Jamie mac id make him captain as he is a mouthy git and it may get an extra yard out of him, Spence on the right with Wilson and Nyatanga who played well and kept two clean sheets in the final 2 games last season. Id also have Stewart on the the bench in case our central pairing get knocked around, id have no keeper which is a risk but gives us more options, the other subs pitman,Elliot,Carey,JCR
We have precious little attacking threat as it is, why restrict that even more - we need to maximise our chances of winning by playing 2 strikers and to be honest, I don't think that Cardiff will be the force that they have been in recent years thistime round. Lets try and go 2-0 up again and hang on to it this time...
Perhaps i just cannot see us keeping them out thats our problem, the style ive gone for is how forest were playing last season if we got possesion stead would join maynard and if we lost it we would crowd the midfield. We did this in our promotion season away at blackpool who were the form side at the time and nicked a 1 nil. when we were expected to come away with nothing
