Interested after reading this, who scored the winner....wasn't too bothered beforehand though!

Craig Noone featured for Cardiff City as they claimed an impressive win at Birmingham. Colin Tattum was there reporting for our sister website, the Birmingham Mail

    Birmingham City 1-2 Cardiff City

Craig Noone starred for Cardiff City as they sunk Birmingham City with a stoppage-time goal in a fractious game which saw the hosts hit the woodwork three times.

Liam Truslove had put Birmingham ahead with a fine header from Fry’s cross in the 43rd minute, getting in front of his marker strongly to find the top corner.

And Andrew Shinnie, on his return from a back injury, cracked a stupendous drive from 30 yards that smacked off the angle.

But they were left to rue those near misses as Cardiff levelled three minutes after the break through Rhys Healey, who fired low across Doyle from the left of the area.

On his return from injury, Noone was taken off on the hour but the Bluebirds were stronger in the second half and created some good openings, without ever really stretching the keeper with their final attempt at goal until the very end.

Jaye Bowen spurned a great opening before the match entered stoppage-time and Cardiff, after swinging a couple of crosses into the area, got a decisive break as Blues failed to clear.

Oh and incidentally . Anyone going to the Norwich game, have a lookout for one eyed Roger....you might bump into him eh? <laugh> <whistle>
