We are still after more strikers so wait and see. I would like our front 3 to be Nugent Maynard and Gallagher

I'd love to see Maynard arrive at the King Power. Derbyshire would be promising also...he was on the verge of breaking into the Blackburn side a few years ago and his move to Olympiakos wasn't a resounding failure so it would be interesting to see how he would fare in the Championship. Of course a lot of us would like to see the Yak back in a City shirt but I feel Nugent would play in a similar role. Plus we all know of the Yak's ridiculous wage demands. I like Howard but he's really getting on now and Nugent will fill his boots more than adequately. The issue of Waghorn is a bone of contention with us foxes; he's a talented chap who works his socks off, but he's quite one-dimensional and not skilful enough for the kind of football Sven wants us to play. It's a shame but true. And don't even mention Leon Crncic or Yann Kermorgant.

I'd like us to sign Whittingham and Routledge to give us a bit more choice and flexibility when it comes to formation. We'd be a strong side when playing 4-4-2 or 4-3-3 in that case, whereas last season, when we didn't play 4-3-3 we looked weak.

Very unlikely to happen, but I'd like to see Craig Bellamy come down. Wages would obviously be a problem but if he fancies a challenge and the chance to work with Sven, I wouldn't be displeased to see him in a City shirt.

    Definitely Maynard.

I still think there's potential to play a 4-3-3 though, Gally on one side, Nugent on the other or in the centre, then we get our main striker or a winger to complete the trio.

If Maynard is so good we should be offering silly money to get him (if King Power have it to burn) because that, coupled with silly money for Mee & Vitor, would be premiership football next season, after all that is the aim.

More & more I have a good feeling about this season, BRING IT ON

Jesus if Brighton took a gamble with a deal rising to £3.5M for an unproven CMS then surely an extra 500K for a proven goalscorer with years on his side is a no brainer??

So with him and Gally, we just need an out and out centre forward, tbh, i wouldn't mind if that was Vassell

Nugent has to play down the middle, that is his best possition, give him 20 games from start hopefully no injuries and he will score plenty, maybe we will play with the 5 in midfield with one joining him up top when needed, that is what quite a few teams play now.

I think Nugent should play on the left of a front 3

    Nugent Maynard Gallagher

I absolutely agree with this! Nugent - Maynard and Gally as a front 3 would score hatfuls of goals I think...i'm quite excited by that prospect!

Matt Mills and Nicky Maynard would cost around 8M between them so they are expensive but if the owners have the money then i think these 2 should be the main targets. Sign these 2, get a winger (or 2 if Dyer leaves). then all we need is centre halfs and cover at wing backs

    1 centre back
    1 left back (Maselia)
1-2 "defensive covers" (1 could be Tunch)
    1 main striker

tbh, i can only see 4 or 5 more signings at most before the start of the season, i can't see Sven investing in out and out wingers when hes so keen on wide strikers with full-backs overlaping.

The great thing about Ben Mee and Miguel Vitor is not only would the be centre backs but we know they are more then capable of playing wing back if they needed to. Against Burnley when Kyle Naughton was injured and Miguel Vitor played right back he was class and Ben Mee was solid at QPR and even nailed Adel Taarabt

to sign those 4 players (not including Maselia) your looking at a good £12m tho :s especially as Benfica are appreciating Vitor more now, the cheapest one might be Mee, but we havn't heard even rumours of him coming back.
