    Self explanatory really.

I'd pick Anita. A little fella but he's having a big impact on the pitch.

Remy is getting the goals and headlines... but he did that at QPR.

Anita has really impressed me in how he has developed this term.

    Wor Timmy?

Or is it just outfield players?

Hmm, tricky one. Remy has been our most noticeably effective player, Cabaye has been the one to give us the quality we need, Timmy has won us points on his own, Debuchy has confounded his critics and looks unbeatable at present, Tiote has been back to his outstanding best...

So I'm gonna pick the Gouff. I always love a player who gives 100% no matter what. He works hard for the team, has got crucial goals and assists, always looks a threat and is really the unsung hero of the team. Its also noticeable how when he is substituted we seem to lose a bit of spark, which he provides or gives others the room to provide.

But really it is a difficult decision, and its soooo nice for that to be the case

Wonder who our neighbours down the coast would pick as theirs...?

Remy as we would be knakered without his goals and if he wasn't here we would be relying on cisse who at the minute couldn't hit a cows arse with a banjo <laugh>

Maybe he's an animal lover and wouldn't even be trying to hit one.

I have a feeling that lack of spark isn't down to Gouffran leaving the pitch, more Obertan stepping on to it.

We've been lucky that we've had a few candidates for it this season. Anita has as you say had a big impact, Remy has put the ball in the net, Debuchy, Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa, Goufran and Sissoko have all been impressive, but I think overall and especially after his heroics at Spurs it'll have to be Timmy for me.

    Remy because of his goals.

    Simple as really.

    Debuchy unbeatable ???
I agree he has improved massively however against spurs he gave away several stupid pointless free kicks which on another day could have screwed us

I would go for gouff purely for work rate as he is starting to become effective with it rather than running like a headless chicken.

I don't think we have one to be fair, which says a lot about how we've become more of team compared to last season.

Remy has scored the goals but only one of his seven has been world class, the rest have been good finishes but they've been chances that I'd have been disappointed had he missed them.

We're playing to his strengths which again comes back to the team ethic.

Easy for me. Comfortably Remy. Cabaye would probably be next or the Gouf. Debuchy is coming up hard on the rails though. Oo er.

I would have put Vurnon Anita if Pardew bothered to play him more, it really peeves me off that he's not in the team. Having said that, Tiote has also approached his old good form as well.

For me, I think Cabaye as player of the season so far. He has improved massively, popped up with a couple of pearler goals and has made us tick very well in midfield. We are strong in midfield, and him coming back has had a big impact there.

    This for me.

I think there are a lot of them who you could feel justified picking. I think another worth a mention, not so much for being the best individual, but perhaps being the biggest bonus is Mike Williamson. At the beginning of the season I think a lot of us would have been panicking at the thought of both Saylor and Collo out for a long time. We certainly wouldn't have expected Collo to have to fight his way back in, or that we don't even notice Saylor isn't there anymore. Mike has been solid and far improved on what I expected. He's in the team on merit and I honestly believe we'd be weaker without him at the minute.

Agreed though I think Debuchy would be next personally, then Gouffran, though Williamson has been impressive so far.
