That depends on who if any, we sell now. For example, if "Sicknote" Baldock goes to Burnley as rumoured, then we could be seeing another striker.

 

I agree with CA - more likely to see 1 or 2 departures for anyone else to come in

Still think we need a hard b*stard leader (like Derry or a younger version) to give the side a bit of backbone

 

Id like another defender in just to push fonts and wilson down the pecking order maybe they leave then, i expect one of baldock or davies to go maybe even both, so expect another striker or two maybe depending on them leaving,
Another right back as we dont have two in that position just moloney maybe we have a youngster who is nearly ready i am unaware of?
Of course adomah is going maybe they pay off some dead wood with his transfer fee, kilkienny is an odd one as i often hear managers of other teams admire him and was so say attracting a bit of interest earlier in the window.

If Baldock is leaving to go to Burnley for £1M as seems pos now then I think S O'D would love to get Sharp here but again it will be finance.

 

Billy Sharp would be unfeckingbelievable in league one
Would he drop down to league one?
but IF we can shift Kilkenny along with Baldock their wages would cover Sharps with ease

 

I wonder if we could offer deals where they get a reasonable basic wage but with something like a massive bonus if we get promoted I think the odds on City winning Promotion rather than winning the league are 4-1 suppose someone put a £500K bet and told the players it was to be divided between them if we went up wouldn't that be the sort of incentive to keep their interest on a wet jan night somewhere in the wilds?

 

Can't see Sharpe joining us apart from a loan deal, but I would suspect if there is chance of him going cheap a host of championship clubs would queue up for him.

Apparently there are a couple of offers for him but he doesn't seem to be in any hurry

 

Don't think he needs to be, it's better to see what offers he gets then chooses the club that will suit him.

 

Given the choice I'd take Sharpe over Baldock any day
