I'd make an approach for Ings on loan and try to permanently sign Lewis Dunk.
I'd also consider a cheeky bid for Shane Long.
    Who do you fancy?

Andy Carrol, he'd score a hat-trick every game. For sure.

With Brighton out of playoffs tonight, Dunk could be more of an option.
Agree with Ings on loan.....we could be Liverpool's feeder club, so if Sturridge is looking for a game or two, he knows where we are.

Dunk seems realistic and we do need another CB to go along side Mbemba and Lacselles if they stay.

Would have a look at James Tavernier back from Ranger's had a cracking season up there as an option at RB.

Also would have a look at Enrique back on a free as cover for LB for a year, that would leave us looking pretty sweet at the back for next season at least and probably the best cover we would have had since Ashley turned up across the back

    GK. Krul*, Elliott, Darlow
RB. Tavernier, Anita/another or youth promotion (Sterry?)
    CB. Dunk, Mbemba, Lacselles, Dummet
    LB. Haidara, Enrique

There is nobody from Norwich or Villa worth having so it will have to be from the Championship or abroad. With Rafa on board we may be able to attract some decent players from abroad that aren`t ****ing useless for a change. We need a Striker for sure, possibly two. Two centre-halves, two/three full-backs, a bastard-like DM to replace Tiote and probably two CM`s who each have a pair of bollocks and a spine. We should be OK on keepers. Depends who ****s off. Don`t let that last display fool you, Wijnaldum, Sissoko, Janmaat and Shelvey have been absent for duty since Feb. Can we trust them for next season? I think not. Get shot of them and get in players who want to play for us and have a bit of courage in them.
There is no place for spineless guttersnipes in this team from now on.!! Oh, I forgot about Captain Colo..... HE CAN **** OFF TOO.!!!!!!

I think we need to expect Colo in the team next season. He's on decent wages so i can't see him choosing to leave, he's got a year on his contract and we'll struggle to shift him i suspect. He's theoretically captain and we've not got a lot of cover in that position so i would actually be surprised if he wasn't in a Newcastle top next season. Others people are talking about leaving i agree with, Colo though doesn't add up for me.

Colo should be nowhere near the team, he's had his time. Gotta move on.

There's a young swiss talent called Barnetta, if we could get him to leave the hotel room in newcastle of which he has been locked inside for 5 years, that would be awesome!

I'd take Barton, he did a job for Burnley and his set pieces seem to have got better. Although I doubt he could play too many games without getting injured. Dyche said he was expensive and there is the anomosity between Ashley and Barton so it's a no go, but I for one would have loved to see it happen.

Redmond would be class, he doesnt even get 90 mins at Norwich. If townsend was to go, i wouldnt mind Aarons on one side, Redmond on the other, that kind of pace would frighten teams.

Can't he **** off to his mickey mouse club San Lorenzo like he was desperate to a few years ago? Guess not, when we want him he wants to go, and we want to get rid of him he sticks around. Dang.

    WHAT WE NEED:
Keeper - even if Krul leaves, Darlow and Elliott are more than up to it, maybe just an emergency 3rd keeper if Krul leaves
Defence - not so much, if Lacelles, Mbemba, Anita, Dummett are there we're looking good, even possibility of Janmaat and Colo still being around.
Midfield - this is perhaps key, Shelvey and Colback can do the ball winning, but he need a goal scoring B2B midfielder in the style of Nolan last team we were in the Champ...would Nolan actually be an option?
Attack - hmmmm, I can see Mitro turning into a bit of a Carroll in the Champ, and Perez playing the Lovenkrands role alongside him, recall Armstrong as well and see if he can step up to the Champ...still feel we need another regular goal scorer though.

So def attacking midfielder, and possibly a striker.

Keeper, I'd be prepared to have Woodman as a 3rd choice
Defence - Another CB, Colo and taylor need to go, we need one CB as Dummett can cover and if haidara ever gets back he can play Lb, maybe a RB too, Sterry can cover, but will Anita be our out and out Right back?
Midfield - Depends who stays and goes, we have alot of numbers but some will go. Saviet, colback, anita, Tiote, shelvey all CM's on or two will go, even De Jong, but i expect him to go. Wingers I think we will need one or two depending on townsend, thauvin, sissoko, wijnaldum Goufran and ayoze. What if Sammy Ameobi stays, will he be used as a squad player to cover injuries? Vuckic too
Strikers - maybe one, Mitro looking to stay, armstrong perez ayoze and rivierre, I'd expect one to go, hopefully riv

Redmond and Timm Klose would be ideal from Norwich to be honest. That Amavi from Villa. There is your left back, centre half and winger sorted. Then just Carrick for a bit experience <laugh> Get a goalscorer from lower leagues (Ajose etc), job done.

Quality shout in Redmond was desperate for us to sign him last season along with Will Hughes - been out all season with a knee injury but would love those two, again good young British lads who know the Championship and would add something to our attacking mid options

I reckon any signings made will be unknown to most of us, obscure players from obscure teams around europe. Most will be young as Rafa will be looking for players who have quality but need experience and playing time to grow. We kind of have an advantage being the championship, could sign players that PL teams might not think are ready and are unwilling to give playing time to, but its something we could offer.

You gotta feel for brighton, lost out on 2nd on goal difference, then get absolutely slaughtered in the playoffs and back to square 1.
