Anybody else notice how St Mary's still charges £2 for a cup of tea or coffee and they have now reduced the size of a cup by what looks like a third since last game - pitiful.
My old man noticed this today, paid £2 for a woefully small cup. But it does have our logo on it, is that meant to be a selling point? Disappointing.
Take a flask FFS and stop whinging. A more serious issue was the health risk due to only having cold water in the bogs.
Can't be dealing with those queues at half time, so I hadn't noticed the cups getting smaller. It would be nice not to have to wander all over looking for a programme, though. Sort it out, Nicola.
Well we all know how expensive water is, with the money they'll save from all that water we could invest in a new CB. With pace.
Have to think of the knock on effect....less water, fewer trips to loo...large saving on soap, water and paper towels. You have to learn to think ahead like Nicola.
A trip to the lavatory at St Mary's is an education. I have on numerous occasions been astonished to see a bloke stood at the urinal with a pint in one hand and his d**k in the other having a p**s. The queues for the cubicle is always full of blokes with packets of ***s in their hands. Then there is the most disappointing thing of all which is that only about a third of people bother to wash their hands. No wonder our hospitals are suffering with all sorts of dodgy infections. The Americans did some research into the nibbles on bars in hotels etc and discovered that most had traces of urin on them deposited by people who don't wash their hands after using the lavatory. It gives a new meaning to the word peanut! Just think about those help yourself salad bars and the people who handle lost of bread and fruit before making their choice at the supermarket.
While I feel personal hygiene is a good thing I don't quite see how people not washing their hands at a football match is the cause of hospital infections! Are you suggesting nurses and auxiliary staff are behaving in the same way? Urine is generally sterile and there is a case for arguing that cross contamination from taps, hand towels etc is more of a hygiene risk than simply not washing your hands.
This, coupled with terrible HT queue's, is why I've brought a flask with me for the past three home games, and will continue to do so. No skin off my nose though (if anything, it's saving me money!).
