All this hype this week about him breaking into the team (deservedly), and hopefully making a similar impact to McClean, but he wasn't even on the bench???
I just can't work this one out. Thought at worst he would have been on bench. I'm desperate to see the lad have a run or even some of the other kids. What's the point of an academy. Last season when we were looking into the abyss he turned to Connor Wickham and the rest is history. Go the same route especially with Adam Johnson out. Come on Gus....it's not rocket science here..we need a spark...we need pace!!!!....and there was Villa in the second half put on a 16 year old. If there good enough...there old enough. For crying out loud give the lad a go...can he do any worse than that shower of ****.....the wind blows Alvarez off the ball and they want 8 million for him!!!!

Saw him sat in the crowd, must be completely demoralised. Three bloody defenders on the bench and Gomez ahead of him after Gus talks him up all week. This club is a shambles at giving youth a chance and he is one of the most exciting prospects we have had for a while.

Not into this not putting him into the team at the moment because he may get demoralized....the lads should have the nuts to handle it. Remember a while ago when Jimmy Adamson brought in Elliott, Arnott and Lord Rowell into a struggling team....they didn't turn out to be bad players
Find him and put in him in the middle of defense....can't remember him ducking under a ball coming at him....
It's a ****ing joke mate. I saw the whole U21 game vs Man U. He's way better than any attacking option we've got atm.
